Widgetilities is a small, independent studio with a simple goal: build apps that are genuinely useful, look great, and are a pleasure to use.

Hi, I'm Micah Chollar.

I founded Widgetilities to build the kind of software I love to use — thoughtful, well-made apps for parents and educators. I've been designing and shipping iOS and Android apps for years, sweating the details so the apps feel effortless.

After 20 years of service, I retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2023, where I flew as a pilot and instructor — most recently teaching cadets to fly gliders at the U.S. Air Force Academy. I then spent three years as an iOS software engineer on Amazon Prime Video, and today I lead the Mac team at Renewed Vision.

Widgetilities is where that craft comes together — apps made with care, for the long haul.
